Droid Depot, Savi’s Workshop, and Oga’s Cantina Accepting Reservations

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is just AMAZING! The attention to detail is “out of this world” and when you’re there, you really are immersed in the land.

Disney is helping with your travel planning when visiting Batuu by now letting guests set up reservations for some of the galactic experiences within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Whether it’s customizing a legendary lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop, building a droid at Droid Depot, or hanging out at Oga’s Cantina, there’s much to explore as Guests become part of the Star Wars story.

Savi’s Workshop

  • Building a lightsaber in Savi’s Workshop costs $199.99 per person [plus tax].  A credit card is required to make a reservation. Custom lightsabers are non-refundable. Cancellations can be made up to the day before without penalty; however, any no-shows will be charged.
  • The number of guests on the reservation should reflect how many people will be building and purchasing a lightsaber. Guests may bring one additional person with them to observe the building experience and the accompanying Guest(s) should not be part of the Guest count on the reservation.

Droid Depot

  • The shop is also home to an experience where Guests are able to assemble and purchase a custom astromech unit in the form of a BB-series unit or R-series unit. Building a custom droid costs $99.99 per person [plus tax].
  • A credit card is required to make a reservation to custom-build a droid. Custom droids are non-refundable. Cancellations can be made up to the day before without penalty; however, any no-shows will be charged.
  • Guests may bring one additional person with them to observe the building experience. The accompanying Guest(s) should not be part of the Guest count on the reservation.
  • Using a remote-control device to operate a droid while at the theme parks will be prohibited, and the droid will need to be carried during a visit to the parks.

Oga’s Cantina

  • A credit card is required to make a reservation. Cancellations can be made up to the day before without penalty; however, any no-shows will be charged $10 per person to the credit card provided at the time of reservation. Guests should make reservations for the number of people in their party, as they would for any dining experience.
  • The menu for Oga’s Cantina consists of delicious drinks and light snacks. There is a two-drink per person maximum at Oga’s Cantina and Guests will be limited to 45 minutes in the cantina. Guests must be 21 years of age or over to consume alcohol; valid photo ID is required.
  • Oga’s Cantina consists mainly of standing room, with limited seating. Seating is not guaranteed upon entry and separate parties may be seated together.

While reservations are highly recommended, there will be limited walk-up availability.

Will you be visiting Batuu at Walt Disney World once it opens on August 29th, let us know in the comments. And as they say “Till the Spires”
