“At DISNEY STUDIOS signing contracts to play the male lead in their next big classic animated musical, #MOANA. Just had an amazing 2hr presentation and it’s easy to see why they’re the greatest story tellers in the world. I’m excited. Moana is a born navigator, based in the ancient South Pacific world of Oceania, sets sail to search for a fabled island. During the journey, she teams up with her hero, a demi-god named Maui to travel the open ocean that leads to an action-packed voyage, encountering sea creatures and breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.

The team who brought us Disney’s The Little Mermaid – Ron Clements and John Musker, are now coming together again to take us along for the ride with a bunch of new characters and locations. “Moana is indomitable, passionate and a dreamer with a unique connection to the ocean itself,” Musker said. “She’s the kind of character we all root for, and we can’t wait to introduce her to audiences.”
