There is a new easier way guests of Walt Disney World will be able to report lost items starting this summer.
We all know that vacations are fun, exciting, sometimes busy and a bit distracting at times and that’s when we tend to lose track of some of our stuff.
Through the years, I’m sure we have all given feedback, written guest compliments, tweeted about how great Cast Members have been in helping to recover some of our precious items that we cherish. Well, Disney heard our voices and have made it more convenient and easier for us to report and get our items back.
Starting May 21st, Disney guests that have lost their items at either Walt Disney World Resort Parks, Water Parks, Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports will be able to easily and conveniently report their lost items on any smart device by visiting DisneyWorld.com/lostandfound. After logging in the item as missing on the site, Cast Members will begin searching for the item(s) and sending periodic updates to guests along the way to be able to reunite the item with their owner. This process will help guests be able to continue enjoying their vacations and not focus on the recovery of their lost item(s).
**Disney Resorts will continue to assist Guests with finding lost items from the front desk, as they do today.
Stay tuned to Center of Magic for more updates in the weeks ahead as Disney gets closer to launching this new system throughout the parks.
