This Fourth of July come celebrate Independence Day at the LEGOLAND Florida Resort where they are getting ready to launch its largest fireworks display of the year during Red, White & Boom. This Independence Day celebration features a day full of fun activities that include a high-energy kid dance party and a giant LEGO flag build. You won’t want to miss it.
On July 4th, an all-American array of treats join the theme park’s menu including a firecracker funnel cake dusted with popping candy, a dessert pizza complete with blueberries, icing and streusel crumbles and a celebratory churro covered in red or blue cinnamon topping.
When the sun goes down, guests are encouraged to wear special viewing glasses and look to the sky above Lake Eloise as it illuminates with LEGO bricks during a patriotic fireworks show. Red, White & Boom will take place from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and is included with park admission.
NEW for Summer 2018
LEGOLAND Florida Resort also announced a brand new, free-of-charge, building activity. For a limited-time this summer, Build-A-Minilander will invite theme park guests to help build residents of MINILAND USA. Located at the heart of the kid-centric theme park, MINILAND USA contains more than 32 million LEGO bricks and scenes from coast to coast all the way to a galaxy far, far away! This building opportunity will be held inside Heartlake Hall from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. “Minilanders” will later be placed within the LEGO cities of MINILAND USA by the resort’s Master Model Builders.
