The Disney Lingo! ºoº

 

Have you ever stopped to think, what is DTD, DCL, DL or WDW? Well my Wonderful Disney Fans, that is the famous Disney Lingo (abbreviations and acronyms) that Disney Cast Members, Guests and Disney Fans alike use when referring to the Theme Parks, Resorts, Rides, etc…  Below I will be sharing with you some if not most of the Disney abbreviations so you never have to feel lost again. 😉

 

Now, on to the Abbreviations… 🙂

  • 7DMT – Seven Dwarf Mine Train (Magic Kingdom)
  • AA – Audio-Animatronics (The mechanical characters in the attractions.)
  • ADR – Advance Dining Reservation
  • AFS – Armed Forces Salute
  • AK – Disney’s Animal Kingdom
  • AKL – Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • AKV – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas (DVC Resort)
  • AOAR – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (can be with or without the R)
  • AP – Annual Pass
  • AP – Artist Point
  • APH – Annual Passholder
  • ASM or ASMu – Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
  • ASMV or ASMo- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
  • ASS – Alien Swirling Saucers (Toy Story Land – Hollywood Studios)
  • ASSR – Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort (we recommend the R for obvious reasons) 😀
  • BATB – “Beauty and the Beast” –  (The Live Stage Performance)
  • B&C – Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club
  • BB – Blizzard Beach
