So it seems that the Walt Disney World Express Bus Service will be a thing of the past. Looks like the Express Service will be cancelled by the end of this month. The last day of the service we have been told is August 23rd, 2017. The last day to purchase the Express Service will be August 16th 2017 with the multi day service being valid till August 23rd 2017.
The Express Service was initiated earlier this year as an added service for Walt Disney World guests. For a fee of $19 for person (or $29 for multi day use) guests could breeze between all 4 theme parks with fast, nonstop service that drops them inside the main gates—closer to the magic—so they can start playing right away. The Express Bus would take them directly to the drop-off location inside the theme park of their choice to visit next, with no waiting to reenter at the gate guests would make their way to the Express Transportation check-in location, and a Cast Member would escort them to their vehicle.
We have heard a lot of positive feedback about the Express Service, but it seems that it wasn’t being utilized by a lot of park guests and due to inclement weather the service would be interrupted occasionally leaving guest to have to use the standard park transportation.
