Yummy! Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae at Magic Kingdom

As annual Disney passholders and avid ice cream fans, my husband Shawn and I were so excited to try the Kitchen Sink ice cream sundae at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom. We often have ice cream for lunch so this was a no brainer for us!

This is a smaller version of the one they have at Beaches and Cream and is the perfect size for two people for lunch or four people as a snack. The sundae consists of three flavors of ice cream – chocolate, strawberry and vanilla and three toppings – hot fudge, strawberries and caramel. All of that is topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and cherries. It all comes in a souvenir Mickey Kitchen Sink that is so stinkin’ cute! At $14.99 (you cannot use your annual pass discount on it) we felt it was well worth the money.

We usually have ice cream for lunch at Ghirardelli at Downtown Disney and I’d say this is as much ice cream as 2 sundaes there and works out to be cheaper plus you get the awesome Mickey pants!! As we sat outside eating this fabulous sundae it was fun to hear all of the kids walking by comment on it as they got their first look at it. Disney magic extends everywhere there, even to your ice cream! After finishing we washed out our new sink in the bathroom and got a bag from a cast member to carry around our new treasure until it was time to go home. All in all it was a magical day!

Have you tried the Mickey Kitchen Sink sundae yet? Tell us about it. 🙂
